Greenhouse Emissions
(Scope 2 - Electric Consumption)
At SP Manufacturas, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and continuously improving the sustainability of our operations.
We recognize that a significant portion of our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions come from purchased electricity (Scope 2).
Given that our business growth plans imply greater absolute energy consumption, we have decided to set our target in terms of relative energy efficiency, that is, emissions per manufactured item.
Greenhouse Emissions
(Scope 3 - Value Chain)
At SP Manufacturas, we recognize that indirect emissions associated with our value chain (Scope 3) represent a significant environmental impact. These emissions are primarily generated by the transportation of raw materials and finished products, as well as by the use of packaging materials.
Corporate Objective
Reduce Scope 2 emissions intensity (tCO2e per item produced) by 5% by November 2027, using November 2024 as the base year.
Corporate Objective
During 2025, our objective is to establish a Scope 3 emissions baseline by collecting and measuring data on transportation and packaging materials.
By 2026, the objective is to define an official KPI in tons of CO2 and establish a Scope 3 emissions reduction plan with a three-year reduction target.
